Yoga for body and soul during exam period
The “first aid for the exam period” week just started and many great events are going to take place during the next days. Among other things a yoga class with Inger Kristine. Especially in stressful and tense times, like the exam period, it is important to focus on yourself and to be able to slow down and relax.

Within a collaboration of the welfare group and the library of Høgskulen i Volda all the events during this week have been organized. The idea behind this week is to help students during the exam period.
On the one hand by offering different (online) courses for example about how to do research or write different tasks and on the other hand by offering small motivation boosters and time outs like practicing yoga. Especially in times of Corona it is important to do things that are fun and spend time with other people. Social distancing is of course crucial in fighting the virus; however, it is also necessary to make sure that interaction and joy with others don’t get lost.
Yoga teaches us to cure what need not be endured and endure what cannot be cured.
This quote from the famous Yogi B. K. S. Iyengar shows that yoga can help to deal with and overcome challenges or accept those that cannot be remedied. There are many things in our everyday life that determine and influence our life, like our studies, family, relationships with others, political events, the virus or negative news in the media. But apart from all these influences, the most important thing is to have inner peace and to be pure with yourself.
Take care of yourself and others!
