This is the first Ph.D. symposium arranged in collaboration with the Volda University College (VUC) research groups Nature, ethics and Aesthetics, led by Professor Knut-Willy Sæther, and Creative wellbeing, led by Professor Helga Synnevåg Løvoll.

Fruitful symposium

Altogether, 6 Ph.D. students joined the symposium and shared their projects, as well as ideas for the future in improving human betterment and caring for nature.

Two Czeck Ph.D. students joined the symposium as a part of the Erasmus + agreement. The four other Ph.D. students are all funded by Volda University College, covering a broad international perspective, coming from different origin nationalities.

It was a very fruitful symposium, and we would like to warmly welcome future Ph.D. students with similar research interests.
