The University of Melbourne is ranked in the world's top 20. Professor Siv M. Gamlem at Volda University College (VUC) has been named Honorary Fellow at one of its research centres. "This is a great honour, and it shows that VUC is being noticed internationally", says the professor in Education enthusiastically.

Two VUC research groups collaborated on arranging an International Ph.D. symposium on nature immersion, sensory experiences, aesthetics, and wellbeing on May 25th and 26th.

– It was amazing to see how well the teachers cooperated to plan joint activities and coordinate lecture plans. Even senior teachers with decades of experience were eager to learn new activities. These are the words of Hege Ringdal, one of three students who recently completed a 3-week teaching placement in Linz, Austria.
