The International Office oversees VUC agreements and participation in international programmes such as Erasmus+. It also coordinates incoming and outgoing student/staff mobility. In addition, the International Office has developed the international meeting place Pangaia and offers a wide variety of extra-curricular activities for incoming students.

Volda University College is renowned for its international activity and high number of students studying abroad. Approximately 20% of graduates from VUC's study programmes have studied or trained abroad for more than 3 months, placing VUC in the top 5 among universities and colleges in Norway.
