International Week

Volda University College holds its annual International Week in the first week of February. The dates for 2019 is Monday February 4th to Friday February 8th. This event is intended for academic and administrative staff from our partner universities. Typically 15-20 international guests visits us for the week. During the week, our guests will meet with the VUC International Office and relevant faculty representatives, as well as, get tours of our campus and, not least, participate in the International Day in the middle of the week.

International Day 2019 - Wednesday February 6th

The International Day is a day where VUC presents our international partner universities on stands in the main building on campus. Guests for the International Week and international students in Volda are expected to represent their home universities in this fair. All events during the International Day takes place in the Berte Kanutte-building at the VUC campus.

Prize for Internationalisation

Every year the student parliament and the school is handing out the Prize for Internationalisation to a student organisation for their engagement in integrating international students in the student society. The prize includes prize money of 10 000 NOK. The winner is chosen by a jury consisting of the international board of VUC. Nominees can be submitted by all students and staff of Volda University College. 

So here is your chance: Submit the organisation that you think has been doing great in the study year 2018/2019 in including and integrating international students in their activities. Give good reasons for your choice! It is not the organisation with the most submissions that wins, but the one with the best arguments. 
Deadline for submission is Sun, 27th of January 23:59 o'clock.

Pris for internasjonalisering

Kvart år deler Studentparlamentet og HVO ut prisen for internasjonalisering til ein studentorganisasjon for engasjement i å integrere internasjonale studenter i studentsamfunnet. Premien inkluderer ein sum på 10 000 kroner.

Alle studentar og tilsette ved HVO kan nominere organisasjonar. Nominer den organisasjonen du synes har vore flinke til å inkludere og integrere internasjonale studenter studieåret 2018/2019. Gi gode argument for kvifor denne organisasjonen bør vinne. Det er ikkje organisasjonen med flest innsendingar som vinn, men den med dei beste argumenta. Frist for innsending er søndag 27. januar klokken 23:59.
