It is now possible to loan books from HVO when digital alternatives are not available.

Students and staff can request available material from HVO Library by sending your request via e-mail to skranke@hivolda.no
Check Oria first to make sure that the material you want is available. 
NB! It is not possible to reserve/waitlist books that are on loan.

You will be contacted when your books are ready to arrange pick-up. 

Library staff will leave your order in a bag for you to pick up at the agreed time outside the main entrance to the Berte Kanutte building closest to the library. 

Students who live outside the Ørsta-Volda area can have books sent to them in the mail, but we do not send books overseas.

NB! Do not return any books until HVO library fully reopens and resumes regular operations. 

Remember to do your part to avoid spreading the virus!
If you are in quarantine or isolation, send someone else to pick up your books. 
HVO Library staff handle books and other material in accordance with current infection and contamination control rules.
